1. DOWNLOAD PORTABLE CLIENT (NO INSTALLATION REQUIRED) To play on server core you need to download client with patch.

2. INSTALL THE CLASSIC INTERFACE & AUTO ENCHANT PATCH Unpack the patch to the root folder of the game if you already have a clean client. Start the game C:\L2Core\system\L2.exe.

COMMON ISSUES 1. Disable Nvidia gaming expirience overlay if l2.exe closes automatically, view article here
2. If you can't login in login sreen user/password try to disable windows defender and your antivirus completely, Add system folder or l2.exe in trusted applications
3. Download DirectX here
4. Windows Xp or lower OS versions is not supported.
5. You don't need to download Winrar we use zip format for all operating systems to unpack client or patch.
